Pricing questions

What counts as one accounting?

One matter, one accounting period, in one or more state formats. A first account for 2025 and a second account for 2026 are two accountings. Re-rendering the same accounting in another format, or re-exporting after a correction, is included.

When do I pay?

When you export the final, reconciled accounting. Setting up the matter, uploading statements, categorizing and reconciling cost nothing. If the accounting doesn't reconcile, you don't pay for it.

What if my matter is bigger than the Complex limits?

Write to us at hello@summafolio.com before you start, and we'll quote it. We won't change the price of an accounting after you've started it.

Are refunds available?

Because you pay only after the accounting reconciles and you've reviewed it, fees for exported accountings aren't refundable, except where the law requires. See the Terms of Service.

Does the price include an attorney or CPA?

No. Summafolio is software. It doesn't provide legal or tax advice, and the fiduciary is responsible for the accounting. Many fiduciaries have an attorney review the accounting before filing; the review packet is built for that.

Is sales tax included?

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any applicable taxes.
