Using the website or the Service does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship.
The fiduciary is responsible
The fiduciary reviews, signs and is solely responsible for every accounting prepared with Summafolio, including its accuracy, completeness and compliance with the governing instrument, the law, court rules and orders. Reconciliation confirms that the accounting agrees with the statements and data you provide. It does not confirm that those statements, values or categories are correct or proper.
No filing, no court approval
We do not file documents with any court or agency, and we do not send documents to beneficiaries or anyone else. Our formats follow the structure of the statutes, rules and model forms we cite. No court has approved or endorsed Summafolio, and we can't promise any court will accept an accounting. Some courts require their own official forms or local formats.
Guides and general information
Our guides, state pages, citations, allocation defaults and fee calculations are general information, current to the "last reviewed" date shown. Laws and rules change, local practice varies, and your governing instrument may say something different. Consult an attorney licensed in your state about your duties and your matter.
